Question

The African American community has finally found a reliable advocate in the Republican Party in President Trump whose policies in trade, immigration and tax cuts have directly improved the economics across the board for all Americans. Finally, the DNC has to compete for the African American vote which is political capital this community has lacked until now.

Post-Trayvon Martin/Ferguson/Baltimore does the African American voter trust the Party who is willing to convict the most powerful person in our country on false and flimsy allegations with zero first hand witnesses?

Can the African American community abide this behavior from the Party of Slavery, Jim Crow, KKK, Margaret Sanger, Robert Byrd, Ralph Northam, LBJ and Hillary Clinton? How would they expect this would eventually play out for the common African American in light of the history of the Democrat Party should they support this move by congress? The DNC eschewed the union workers, will they now turn on the African American vote?

With the encouragement of Larry Elders, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Candace Owens and, of course, Kanye West...Blacks may have a chance to free themselves from the party of death!

As I've written before:

Bill Clinton's neoliberalism was a false promise of opportunity. His deregulation destroyed small black businesses through economic consolidation and his excessive policing fractured black communities. Black people who care about that issue should follow the lead of young blacks and support one of the progressive candidates who has a credible position on criminal justice reform--not someone complicit like Biden or Harris. But the fact remains that the Republicans have long been the party of southern whites, rural whites, and law enforcement rather than the party of Reconstruction and the Democrats have long been the party of civil rights rather than the party of Jim Crow despite its dalliance with neoliberalism. Whichever Democrat has the most name recognition stands the best chance with older blacks because they are perceived as the safe choice. Every time Trump opens his mouth he reminds blacks that Republicans don't see them or other minorities as equal citizens.

It's debatable how responsible for the economy he is--all of the current trends were well under way when he took office. Much of the gains are only available to people with money invested in stocks, which blacks are much less likely to have due to the persistent racial wage gap.
