I do not recall hearing any mainstream Democratic candidate talk about "white privilege." Maybe a couple said something once, but my guess is you saw some "cherry picked" quotes on web sites like dailycaller, and it makes you think the Left is 80% extremist rather than 8%. Because YOU are consuming toxic sludge of "news" that is intended to make you angry and biased.

Drop the bias! Listen for yourself to the actual quotes and candidates! Purify your OWN MIND.

@BobCoffey1 So serious question - do you understand my point that ALL of your information comes from news or the web? You have not interviewed any witnesses yourself, etc. It is all from what you read on the net. So if you refuse to listen to mainstream sources, you are not going to get very good information.

The information out there for anyone to read (if you don't think you already know everything) is from life-long public servants who have worked in our intelligence services for their entire lives.

Here is some info from the US Justice Dept report on Russian "active measures:"

"The first form of Russian election influence came principally from the Internet Research
Agency, LLC (IRA), a Russian organization funded by Yevgeniy Viktorovich Prigozhin and
companies he controlled, including Concord Management and Consulting LLC and Concord
Catering (collectively “Concord&rdquo. The IRA conducted social media operations targeted at large
U.S. audiences with the goal of sowing discord in the U.S. political system.3 These operations
constituted “active measures” (активные мероприятия), a term that typically refers to operations
conducted by Russian security services aimed at influencing the course of international affairs.

The IRA and its employees began operations targeting the United States as early as 2014.
Using fictitious U.S. personas, IRA employees operated social media accounts and group pages
designed to attract U.S. audiences. These groups and accounts, which addressed divisive U.S.
political and social issues, falsely claimed to be controlled by U.S. activists. Over time, these
social media accounts became a means to reach large U.S. audiences. IRA employees travelled to
the United States in mid-2014 on an intelligence-gathering mission to obtain information and
photographs for use in their social media posts.

IRA employees posted derogatory information about a number of candidates in the 2016
U.S. presidential election. By early to mid-2016, IRA operations included supporting the Trump
Campaign and disparaging candidate Hillary Clinton. The IRA made various expenditures to carry
out those activities, including buying political advertisements on social media in the names of U.S.
persons and entities. Some IRA employees, posing as U.S. persons and without revealing their
Russian association, communicated electronically with individuals associated with the Trump
Campaign and with other political activists to seek to coordinate political activities, including the
staging of political rallies.5 The investigation did not identify evidence that any U.S. persons
knowingly or intentionally coordinated with the IRA’s interference operation. "

@damo9f The first reason I chose a cross is because it reflects my faith. I love the intricacies of the celtic cross as well. And before you try showing everyone how smart you are by going into the "real" meaning of the cletic cross and how it predates Christ no need to bother because I am well aware of that bit of history. But it's kind of like the way the word gay has been usurped for a whole other purpose and meaning now. The real meaning of that word is is "happy" but if you were to tell everyone you are gay now, they would all assume you are coming out of the closet.

As for connecting with my white brothers online I prefer the "okay" hand sign. You know, the three fingers up, with the index finger and thumb creating a circle? After all, the Aryan Brotherhood, and neonazis are so well known for they way they like to hang out with people carrying names like Santiago, Espinoza, Gonzales, etc.

@KCSantiago Hey, Santiago, I just asked the question. It's a little odd, like you say, for a guy with a Hispanic name to have a cross like that as their symbol on IDW.

You might be sending the wrong signals to the wrong people, especially here where we do get some of that type. That's somewhat true in IDW, and double true in the culture war channel.

I have been posting here for months, have had over 2,000 views to my posts, plus all the views to my comments yet you are the first person to accuse me of being a neo nazi, and because of the image of a cross, of all things to bring that to your mind. From my experience here the wrong people you speak have been people just like yourself, dinks that come along making comments that have nothing to do with the topic at hand and making underhanded accusations. Sure hispanics are not well known for connections with the Irish and Scottish, but to have calling me a nazi as the go to reason for my having a cletic cross, that a pretty damn far stretch of the imagination. I have not even mentioned the fact that you are the only person I have ever heard claiming the celtic cross is some secret hand shake for the Aryan Brotherhood, and neo nazis and I have used this as a profile pic on three different social medias for over ten years.
