THE INVERSE TRUMP EFFECT IN ACTION
President Donald Trump (and still not President Hillary Clinton) will never get an opportunity to take his case to the people through such media outlets as The NY Times. They truly believe that denying him their platform will hinder him in his efforts to make the case for himself. They really think that giving a platform to failures like John Kerry ( who, by the way, served in Vietnam Nam) they will strike a blow against against their hated nemesis and all he stands for; that when Kerry attacks Trump for ruining everything he and former President Barack Obama “achieved” with the Iran deal, he’s somehow putting points on the board for the resistance, and not, as is actually the case, giving free publicity via the most important media outlet in the country to one of the major reasons Trump was elected and why he should be re-elected in 2020.
Idiots. With enemies like theses, who needs friends?

That’s really polite. Let me put it another way, the NYT is like an “out house”, full of crap and nothing else!
That's not true. The Times interviewed Trump in 2019. If anything, Trump is avoiding media that don't uncritically parrot his propaganda. The last "daily" White House press briefing was almost a year ago for god's sake!

John Kerry is a war veteran and deserves our thanks and respect, unlike Donald Trump who was a draft dodger. Donald has diverted funds from our military for his flaccid ineffectual border wall. Not to mention he called a war hero a loser because he was a POW. I like Trump, but his record with our military is abhorrent.

Well, why do true Vietnam vets hate him?
@redheeler So four months of driving loud boats through rivers and streams to intentionally uncover camoflauged groups of enemy combatants does not make Kerry a "true" Vietnam Vet? That is 120 days of people shooting at you. Yes, a small group of Vets questioned the validity of Kerry's medals earned while in active combat. But not all. As a matter of fact many have come forward to verify the intensity of fighting that Kerry saw in his four months. He is a Vet who saw combat and helped protect out freedoms. Unlike Trump, the draft dodger.

4 months. That’s it. For which he was awarded a silver star, a bronze star, and three Purple Hearts. Then he came home and founded Viet Nam Vets Against the War.
