If you don't like me referring to an author consider my comments from another forum on why liberal judges have been consistently overturned on immigration. If Hillary Clinton sounds insane it's no worse than these judges or any other part of the "resistance".

If you look at people like Ocasio Cortez or Bernie Sanders what you see are people that hate liberal democracy. When they say they love America what they really mean is they love their vision of America. It should come as no surprise that people in the Sanders campaign would put Trump supporters in "reeducation" camps. In their minds America is a geographical location where Americans live not a set of customs and ideas.

How the neo liberals came to embrace socialism is hard to explain. It's equally hard to explain why the resistance from the neo cons has been so half hearted. Perhaps the words of John Rockefeller illuminates the process "competition is a sin".

Both Bernie Sanders and Ocasio Cortez came to power without any serious competition. In fact neither have engaged in any serious competition in their lives. Everything they have was more or less handed to them without any serious effort on their part. Like Hunter Biden they are the beneficiaries of a lucrative political process devoid of meritocracy. The same is true of the Clinton's, Obama, most of the media, Hollywood, the financial sector and neo cons like the Bushs and John Bolton.

How many of our Judges got their positions not through a meritocratic system but by being political hacks? Why would we expect that they would embrace liberal democracy when it is alien to their experience? Why would they embrace limited, meritocratic, and judicious immigration? How could their egos even sustain such concepts?

Part of the problem with Luxus is it give you the luxury to not only be incompetent but to not suffer the consequences of your incompetence. Worse still it gives you the luxury to not expect competency in others. Why make the test for immigration competency when competency is not part of your experience. When success in life has as much to do with branding by a university, your appearance, who you know instead of what you know, celebrity, and verbal intelligence not general intelligence meritocracy is an alien idea.

Ask yourself why did the Russian revolution come at exactly the time that Russia was finally pulling itself out of medieval serfdom. It didn't come from the serfs themselves but from the ranks of a new non meritocratic middle class "intelligencia" . People who obviously didn't love the serfs or the lower class but very much were in love with themselves. A love not born out of accomplishment but entitlement. An entitlement they were more than willing to transfer to the lower class as long as they held on to power.
