As expected, Joe Biden’s campaign has been unraveling slowly, by increments, and then, all at once. We all kind of knew it would end this way, but the mystery is why it began at all. There was no groundswell of support clamoring for him to run. Obama played Dwight Eisenhower, who, when asked what contributions Richard Nixon had made as Vice-President said, “We’ll, if you give me a week, I might think of one.” But Ike eventually endorsed Nixon, a concession Biden never could wring out of Obama.

But... but... you protest. Surely they valued him enough to invent an impeachment hoax to protect him and his crackhead idiot son, right? Right?

I don’t think so. I don’t think Biden winning was anyone’s goal. However, Biden running proved to be both his, and the Democrats,’ insurance policy.

Everyone’s known Burisma was just over the horizon, ready to explode and consume not only Biden, but the whole can of worms going back to the 2014 coup that deposed the pro-Russian President, Yanukovych, and replaced him with the Obama administration’s hand-picked successor, Poroshenko, who was much more amenable to The Ukraine’s turn westward towards NATO. Unless you explore the machinations of the Obama Administration in its efforts to exploit The Ukraine in a proxy war with Russia—placing missiles along Russia’s border and declaring The Ukraine vital to America’s security interests, (like we’d be ok if Russia declared Mexico vital to their interests and tried to pull the same trick) the entire Trump resistance plays out like a series of delusional Hail Mary passes.

By last summer it was clear that nothing had worked to depose Trump. It was further clear that Biden and his crooked family was the loose thread that could unravel the whole miserable scheme and finally explain the desperation of the RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! nonsense. Peter Sweizer had already outlined the surface details of the Burisma deal in his book “Secret Empires.” With his follow-up, “Profiles In Corruption,” set to be released with far greater detail, it was inevitable that questions would be asked.

No one cared a whit for Hunter Biden and he’d have been cheerfully thrown under the bus if this had just been another corrupt deal for a corrupt retired politician and his corrupt family. But there was so much more at stake. The millions funneled to Hunter and Sleepy Joe were a pittance compared to the billions given to Igor Kolomoisky’s PrivatBank which then vanished without a trace. Kolomoisky, a long time thug fond of beheading rivals with a chainsaw, was probably the real owner of Burisma, and the man Joe Biden was dealing with when he made his famous demand to have the one prosecutor looking into the mess fired.

Too many questions, too many names no one could spell, much less pronounce, too difficult to tell the good guys from the bad guys. Much easier to wait for the inevitable questions from the Trump Administration, make sure Biden was no longer a corrupt retired politician, but, instead, a political rival (as if), and use it as the tripwire that set the fabricated impeachment hoax in motion.

Do I think someone went to Joe Biden and said, “Joe, you gotta take one for the team. You gotta come out of retirement, make a fool of yourself once again, dig up all your past bad behavior and parade it all in front of the media, because then we can impeach the m**r and call it abuse of power.” No, I don’t think that. I think nothing was going to stop Joe from running, and certain influential people seized the opportunity when they cobbled the impeachment together as badly as they’d concocted all the other scams.

As they say, if you shoot a charging lion, don’t miss. They missed. Joe Biden is headed for well-deserved obscurity, humiliation and maybe prison, and we might finally get to understand why the RUSSIA narrative was already written and waiting to be used, and why a seemingly insignificant third-tier country like The Ukraine keeps showing up in story after story. And, maybe, just maybe, what the full involvement of the Obama administration consisted of, and how it finally might provide the context that makes sense of it all.
