I agree with most of what he says. The only issue with which I have a slightly different position is the issue of bernie’s failure to apologize. I see no need for or value in Bernie’s apology. Instead, I would say he has a responsibility to admit that there are many instances of violence or threats of violence and then he should denounce these specific (and all other ) acts or threats of violence.
Apologizing for what somebody else has done is disingenuous if you don’t show how you have done something wrong. An apology is meaningless without repentance of the act for which you are apologizing.
I say this because many people have been ruined for a perceived wrong thought and the formula for redemption is a public apology with no admission of wrongdoing required. This is foolishness.
