The common flu mortality rate, is solid double digit %. That translates to over 30,000,000 dead if our entire population of 300,000,000 gets it at 10%.
COVID-19, has a rate of (to date) 2%. That eqates to 600,000 dead, again, if the entire 300,000,000 population gets it.
Losing 600,000 might clear out enough Stupid, that If I make it, I MIGHT consider giving our species a break.

Those numbers are wrong.
Common flu is 0.1 Mortality, Corona virus is 2.3% at least 23 times worse.
The fatality rate which most are interested in is those who get it what percentage die? This is Over 4% .

Yes percentage of population not infected. the number you quote for flu deaths is about 100 times to high, unless you mean SARS the other corona virus which has 9%. fatality rate.
