Yes. When you ask them about the previous generation, they typically say something like "They were sure dumb, weren't they?"
Then they propose something history long ago proved foolish, as if no one ever thought of it before, or as if it could be done differently this time - as if human nature was magically different.
They always have to invoke some exception, and fail to notice exactly the same argument throughout history.
its because in order for a modern government to be of use...they must fabricate problems which automatically results in the exploitation of our differences ...the stigma that has been left behind from the previous abuse, gives feeling of truth in these fictitious stories--causing the flame to re-ignite
@DesireNoDesires politicians don’t solve problems, that would be killing the golden goose. They exploit problems for financial and political gain.
The same is true of big Pharma. They have to incentive to cure disease.
We as a society should give them a reason to cure disease and solve problems.
The best solution to the divisions caused by partisan politics is to get rid of parties

Anyone who is willing to rigorously "Follow the argument wherever it leads," will discover God. And themselves.
Until I did that, there was always a point when I stopped, and drew an arbitrary conclusion for my own comfort. Only when I was willing to endure the discomfort of asking the tough questions and follow where they led did I discover my faith.
