Here we see the “share the misery” outcome of the progressive policies of the left, with genuinely harmful consequences. The school boards of Seattle and Philadelphia has forbidden teachers from offering any form of at home lessons. Why? Because some kids don’t have access. In Seattle, teachers have even been warned not to offer guidance to students on how to spend their downtime.
Ideology over results. I guess the Seattle board, located as it is in one of the major high-tech hubs in the country, is just too pure to imagine a partnership with the private sector, who you know would love the opportunity for some genuine good-deed doing and the positive PR that would go with it.
This is why cities run by hard-core leftists are crumbling.

Same mentality as the hoarders who have a year's worth of toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and f*ck everyone else. Its time to hold every one of these self-appointed elites responsible for their arrogance and disregard for others. Don't be nice about it. Don't slander them. That is their tool of cowardice. Just make sure they know you don't believe them, don't approve, and will ignore them from now on.

From Doctors to Dishwashers. So went the story in Communist CHINA where in the insane unobtainable quest for Equality, Doctors exchanged their jobs with Dishwashers and vice versa. As hard as it is to comprehend this it actually happed until the stupid communist house of cards fell down. Those that did no go along were subject to their "struggle session" Google if you don't know what that is and be in for another surprise.

@johnlondon Are they really crumbling though? Cities are getting more prosperous as rural and former manufacturing hubs decline, especially with decreased immigration.
Philadelphia appears to be crumbling town, literally.
Look at the links, there is a whole lot of crumbling going on in that Democratic town.
