WE ARE ALL SCREWED, so WE ALL just hit the "Snooze" button on the economy, and then EVERYONE acts like they CALLED OFF.
It really IS that simple. Nothing else will work.
Congress OBVIOUSLY doesn't care.
Keep the entitlement checks going, unemployment too... The cash is fake anyway.... JUST PRINT MORE... like we ALREADY do.

@DonProvolone Perhaps we're just coming at this from different points of view. Massive cash infusions (yes fake money as always) can put a halt to this and get individuals and corporations bolstered up to ride it out. Hell, its all printed money and we know that. You and I can use the cash in our wallets, but studies say quite clearly that vast majority of individuals don't even have $400 in savings for an emergency. Without the massive infusion we're going to see riots on top of collapsed medical systems and death. Chaos is not and never will be the answer.

@DonProvolone If you look at my post from yesterday, I think something like "war bonds" after the dust settles, offering classic market rates (6%) for 10 year bonds and perhaps 4 or 5% for 5 years bonds, might be a way to offset the 3+ trillion all of this is going to take.
For the average small investor, or non-investor, this would represent a pretty safe bet and way better results than what they normally get trying to play the markets.
