I think you meant to say that Obama inherited the worst economy in history. Over his eight yearsthe economy continued an upward slope. That is jus a fact. All presidents have added to the debt including Trump.And despite having the greatest economy ever Trump has not been paying down the debt. Instead he continues to add to the debt despite having a Republican House and Senate. Please show your source for your statement. I like a lot of what Trump has done. I do not like statements not based in facts.

@FOTD13. You can spin it however you like, however he was the ONLY administration with the distinction of the lowest growth rate in the history of the US. You assert he inherited it. I assert he made it by obligating taxpayers to an historic deficit, and using government spending as a stimulus, which is between 2 and 6 times worse than private sector stimulus, about which all economists agree. If you come to the conclusion that it worked anyway, then why was it so bad? Could you be disinterested in the truth?

Let's look at a more complete picture than GDP alone.Let's take into account unemployment, inflation, GDP change, and budget defecit. Obama took office during a recession that the previous Republican administration created. A fact. We where in the middle of a global financial crisis and the economy was performing worse than when Reagan took office. After taking eight years to recover the US economy rebounded. And that is what Trump inherited; an upwardly moving economy. Obama inherited a downward moving economy. Just facts, no spin. And Trump keeps adding to the defecit because he is a liar like every other politician.

Trump vowed to freeze spending. He lied. Trump vowed to balance the budget. Lie. Then he lied and said tariffs would pay down the defecit. They didn't. In fact they hurt American farmers. And we the tax payer had to bail the farmers out because of the tariffs. I guess that's better than bailing out banks. Trump has increased the defecit by almost three trillion since he has taken office.

Rush is an entertainer, not a news source, I read several news sources right, left, and center. I make up my own mind and am open to political debate without choosing a side. I like to hear from all sorts of people and I particularly like facts. They want us divided so we argue over stupid trivial issues while they line thier pockets. They are all crooks from Bernie to Trump.
