Does the GOP have any future as a national party? I think 2020 will be their last hurrah IF Trump wins. Demographics are going to turn Texas, Georgia, Arizona and North Carolina blue in the next ten years, maybe sooner. The GOP can’t win the presidency by carrying small rural states (Nebraska, Montana, etc.) only.

Trump gave them the chance to undo decades of damage (abortion, immigration, Chinese job outsourcing, dumb wars, plus Obamacare more recently) but instead they shat on their future (and America’s) by pushing the same old Bush/Cheney agenda. Too cowardly, craven and greedy to do the right thing. An absolute disgrace.

The best argument for Trump these days is he's not Biden. I don't think the GOP has a chance in the future. Most people tend to be on the left. Even young white people tend to lean that way. Blacks and Hispanics block vote for the Democrats. It doesn't look good.

@Sacha799 Yes Trump is about himself Donald Trump. He cheated on his wife with a Pornstar, he never delivers on his promises and he blames everyone else when he fails. On a personal level like as a person I don't think any of us ever liked him but we at least though he would stick to principles and fight. He does not even do that.
Sad but true
It does not look good for the GOP. Yes, maybe the Republicans will make some small gains with non-Whites. But that will be irrelevant compared to the flood coming in.

Republicans have always been the party which has had the mission of protecting and defending the Constitution - and nothing like what Democrats say it is. (Democrats say Republicans do what Democrats actually do. Easy to prove by going to news sites not co-opted by Democrats)
So as long as there is a Constitution, there will be Republicans.
Democrats are the party nearing extinction. Public approval of the Democrat party is at its lowest point in history.
