@TheHerrDark And pretending to give hard booze to a kid is not cool, and having a 5 yr old swear like a sailor, or, in this case, a skanked-up barista is really bad. Two words: Maxwell House.

@MDonaldson They have done the kids with alcohol in movies and TV for comedy effect for years. So they are doing nothing new.

@TheHerrDark Yeah, I guess so, but again Black Rifle can't really think this is a good look for them, right? Can Stephen Crowder, whose show I love and is sponsored by them, think this is appropriate material? Maybe I'm wrong. I'm not a prude, but this just seemed over the top in bad taste to me.

@TheHerrDark That's not the point. Should a up and coming company, trying to gin up it's brand, associate with such a lame production? Would Maxwell House? GM? Proctor & Gamble? I think not. This sophomoric humor can be funny or not according to the viewer, but would you promote YOUR product with this crap if you wanted some semblance of propriety? More people than not, IMO, would take BR Co. as a serious brand after seeing this. Maybe they're trying to be hip or cool, fine. But I think from a marketing perspective, doing this was unwise.

Now they are selling (here in PA) alcohol-infused slushies in convenience stores, that is more of a concern for me than this is because I know this is fake and not to be taken seriously.

@TheHerrDark I understand your concerns about the slushies, but that still isn't the point of my critique. However, I'm sure you know you can go to just about any state within a day's drive of PA(btw: I just moved down here from Butler..) and get beer in just about any place that does business. I live in NC and have yet to see kids lying in the gutter next to an empty six-pack of Rolling Rock. If they had used a phony company name on the vending truck then I'd have no opinion on this C- video. Of course no one would take it seriously, (it wasn't funny enough to finish watching) but I just questioned their marketing decision to use something this course to peddle coffee.

@MDonaldson You don't know, then. PA passed the law so that convenience and grocery stores can sell alcohol. Hard liquor is still restricted to state stores, but Sheetz even sells beer and wine now.
