I was raised in a liberal home, I have become more and more conservative as drugs have ravaged my community and I spent the last four years helping the homeless and drug addicts get and stay clean. I don't see government solutions working around me, Counseling is not the answer either. You have to remove the addict from his place on the sidewalk, house him, cloth him, feed him and give him work. It has to become his choice to change and not die. They call my town Freeatle. They no longer prosecute misdemeanors in my town and felons are let free. We have a prison called McNeil island that sits empty while crimes are not being prosecuted. Nobody wants to donate to programs like the one I volunteer in. People need to wake up and become part of the solution. I'm also handicapped from diabetes.
