I lived in Asia as a child. There where lots of beggers. Mum never gave them money. Always gave them food. I do the same. Charities admit they only give $1 in 11 to intended cause. So I say give directly to poor cut out middle man.

Ivermectin more affective and $2 a dose can be used both as treatment and prevention. But banned in Victoria Australia. Not one prescription handed out in Australia. But 50 out of 51 peer reviewed studies show it is working.
