My standard response to the impulse for correcting for historic wrongs - The idea that we sit in judgment over those who came before us is hubris. We should work to build on the foundation we have been given and not on unearthing where we stand. It is a good thing that the Mayan and Aztec cultures no longer exist. On the other hand, we can still do better.

Piers Clashes With Extinction Rebellion Co-Leader Skeena Rathor Over Protests | Good Morning Britain...
RobBlair comments on Oct 9, 2019:
We need to have a talk about "Civil Disobedience" in liberal democracies. No one is denying these fruit loops the right to vote like the blacks were in the US South during the Civil Rights movement. There is no foreign occupation like the time of Gandhi in India. They are not a neglected colony. This is not Hong Kong. Their representatives are not acting unlawfully (sidenote - maybe in regards to Brexit they are) If they mobilize the electorate, they will be able to forward their agenda. Any "Civil Disobedience" given these circumstances, should be met with the full weight of the law against them.
I thought there was such thing as "freedom of religion".
RobBlair comments on Oct 8, 2019:
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 is widely praised as a landmark in the march against racist policies against blacks in the US. However, title 2 and title 7 of the act are demonstrably unconstitutional. Title 2 - All persons shall be entitled to the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, and privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, as defined in this section, without discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin... Title 7 - It shall be an unlawful employment practice for an employer - to fail or refuse to hire or to discharge any individual, or otherwise to discriminate against any individual with respect to his compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, because of such individual's race, color, religion, sex, or national origin; ... Per the first amendment - Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. In short, any court order for or against a religious expression or any Federal action against our right to freely associate is an overstep of our government's enumerated powers. I wish Clarence Thomas a speedy recovery.

Will Self-Driving Cars Change the Rules of the Road?
RobBlair comments on Oct 7, 2019:
Something that needs to be considered - terrorist places bombs in auto-driving trucks and instructs them to cross bridges, park under buildings and near soft targets. All this is done by someone who doesn't have to be anywhere near the final devastation. Clearly, this is a situation worth avoiding. We could go to a non-autonomous system where vehicles are registered onto a subscription service that manges each vehicle in their system. A civilian must be registered for each vehicle and there should be a requirement that the civilian is present in the vehicle while traveling. As for insurance, the system driving the car must be responsible for its mistakes.

I didn't see any analysis regarding what needs to be considered for impeachment. As with "Russian Collusion," the actual charge being investigated has not yet been stated. Here's a list regarding what I think people should be considering: - being that we just went through a 3 year investigation of the President which effectively resulted in the president being cleared of all charges, what is different this time? Why are the people who lied to us about the Russian collusion still being given a stage and treated as sources? - could a discussion by our current president, regarding the questionable actions of the previous administration, towards one of our allies, be in our national interest? - what changed that caused Trump to greenlight the loan to Ukraine? - why is the President given the authority to stop a foreign loan that was already OK'd by congress? - if our Federal agencies can spy on an incoming presidential campaign with impunity, leak classified communications, and fail at a coup with tepid interest from the press, who do you think is running this country? While the left is smashing the glass house Obama built, you think GOP is radically changing. Ha.

I .would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it." ... Trump - "The other thing. There's a lot of talk about Biden's son. That Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it... It sounds horrible to me." The Uighurs are China's last season's winners basking at the Xinjiang resorts! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLlVa6HjV8k For those who don't partake of old Arnie movies, it turns out that last season's winners are actually losers. China should be mocked for even pretending that they're concerned with human rights. Their current dictator has given no signal that he cares about the people he's supposed to serve.

Exodus 33:18-23 Then Moses said, “Please show me Your glory.” “I will cause all My goodness to pass in front of you,” the LORD replied, “and I will proclaim My name—the LORD—before you. I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” And He added, “You cannot see My face, for no one can see Me and live.” The LORD continued, “There is a place near Me where you are to stand upon a rock, and when My glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by. Then I will take My hand away, and you will see My back; but My face must not be seen.” and yet this is the blessing on Israel - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZN1mryHEnQ

Wow - right there in the first line "Congratulations on a great victory!" Clearly Trump is colluding with the Ukrainian president and is manipulating their election.
Alarmism is not helpful.
