I grew up in the 1960's were I and several friends had air rifles, then 22's and later shot guns held in our easy rider rifle racks, unlocked above the head of our beds. As far as I remember there were no daily, weekly, monthly shootings. The difference today is that there are fewer rules, boundaries and limitations because that might hurt the feelings of our children? If we want to make real change, we need to change the culture, that takes time, at least thirty years, way too long for the political class which is focused on three years at best.
