America has had enough of terror and scare mongering. I have the distinct impression that some folks are actually looking for emergencies, or calamities, or catastrophes for excitement and/or to justify their existence. Especially when they conclude without evidence that there is some kind of collusion or conspiracy of unknown purpose. I think some of these folks are counting on there always being some doubt, so their wild assertions will never die. Facts are more difficult to discern, and take time. I will wait for them, rather than give gleeful alarmists any attention.

I should be obvious that Democrats do not respect the Constitution so much as posture their virtue as their prime concern. And other decisions show outright contempt for the only document in the World that asserts that the government does not grant Americans rights; we just have them, and the government may not infringe them. Any infringement on the 2nd Amendment is contempt for the U.S. Constitution. Any assumption that our rights are not already sacrosanct and that additional law must be passed to protect some of us is contempt for the Constitution. Any infringement of the First Amendment, such as colluding with Twitter, Facebook, Google and God knows what else to censor any disagreement with the government is contempt for the Constitution. All harassment of sitting officials, such as President Trump while in office by the FBI, falsely asserting Russian collusion to interfere with his election, is contempt for the Constitution, as well as criminal misconduct of the officials in that agency. Officials falsely concluding in public that January 6 was not intentional entrapment by Federal officials - which can clearly be seen by everyone in the plethora of videos available on the Web, is contempt for the Constitution, and criminal misconduct on the part of the Department of Justice and the FBI. There are more questions. Among them are: The public can clearly see that ballot stuffing has been occurring across the nation. How has that massive funding to accomplish that occurred? Why are officials and the judiciary not finding what is obvious to the public? As long as the public does not protest by contacting their representatives at all levels, the signal the embedded officials get is that all of this is OK. Nothing will change until We, the People begin to hold our reps accountable.

That's what extremists like Xi do: gather enough intel to plan arrests, and the prisons they to which they will be sent, then they go after everyone, like a military operation. That's what Communism/socialism always does, and has since Stalin. Knuckleheads who somehow believe there's no difference between our unique Constitutional protection of rights and that are incredibly dumb.

Why would anyone expose themselves to the inconvenience of an electric car in this lifetime? I won’t.

The law has nothing to do with the truth or morality. Especially in the US, where litigation has been encouraged beyond rational expectation by our laws. If we had something closer to England's Tort Law, where frivolous lawsuits are heavily punished, it would end. But as it stands, lawyers don't have to actually have the truth on their side to make punitive litigation force change that may or may not be in the best interests of the public. The fact is that there is always going to be reasonable doubt that a computer can ALWAYS act perfectly in all circumstances. Frankly, as an engineer, I would happily testify that such a computer is highly unlikely. With life at stake, such litigation will never end. If I were Musk, and understood US tort law, I would never have allowed self-driving technology in my vehicles.

Come on, snap out of it. Jet engines get the best fuel economy - which means more money in their pockets, when they run clean. So most jet jet engines product mostly water and a little CO2. With impurities in the fuel they may also produce very small amounts of sulpher dioxide, and Nitrous oxides. Aircraft generally produce the same stuff that comes out of cars, and about the same levels - which due to the EPA rules is very low.

Why does the CIA keep getting blindsided by insurgencies?
TimTuolomne comments on Feb 16, 2023:
The whole of CIA strategy in the Cold War was ideology based: Create counter presence to the Red threat; not an intelligent response to tactics on the ground, nor the overarching strategy of the Soviets. The result is that instead of allowing the Soviets to move in heavy handed and take the rep for it, the CIA moved in to attempt to counter them, and it was their word against ours. Not a safe tactic. Hollywood gleefully made movies about how the CIA was everywhere and everyone. Movies seen everywhere in the World. They helped the Soviets successfully blame the US for every bad thing the Soviets did, much like the Democrats do in the US to the Republicans. After the wall fell, the CIA seems to have become as aimless as NATO, and Democrats seem to have recognized the opportunity to embed Deep State operatives. Now the CIA seems to have ethos of the Democrat Party, which means full-on expedience against the US public at the expense of truth and integrity. The CIA has simply changed one ideology for another. In WWII, our platoons in the field were generally more successful because they had the authority to make autonomous decisions in the field to take advantage of opportunities that presented. The Germans and Japanese were top-down authority driven, by ideology, and their response was just that much slower which often gave our field troops the advantage. Our weakness in the US today is that the only way to fight an agency run by the Executive Branch is to appeal to the President. This one isn't going to change anything. Its why I have been arguing to abolish the CIA, and start over with the Space Force.

The statistic is about right, but it is all about economic and social disadvantage that makes people desperate, poorly educated, and from broken families. Making it about "race" is, well, racist. I've met all kinds of disadvantaged, of all different shades, nationalities, and beliefs. Almost all of them are fatherless, like I was. I came from that kind of background and was lucky to have the opportunity to get out of it. I knew many of all shades who never did. Most of them are in prison. But about guns, around 1970, Democrats forced the release of mental patients from institutions which were giving them essential care, or they were incarcerated for public safety. Some of them are now using guns to randomly kill people, but not law-abiding citizens. People wanting to take away my right to own a gun actually makes me feel I might need one soon. Finally, when I was a kid in the 50s, racism was practically non-existent. Not like today. Thanks Obama.

TimTuolomne comments on Feb 15, 2023:
Feinstein is a perfect example of the corrupt dynasty that is the Democrat Party in the US, only retiring due to old age. Our Founding Fathers envisioned the citizen statesman who would retire after serving the nation, not career politicians more concerned about manipulating the system for more power for themselves and their buddies. Democrats could have declared themselves defenders of the Constitution at any time since their founding in 1828, but they never did. Many Democrats, like Obama, have voiced their view that the Constitution limits the government too much. The fact that it would make the country like every other government in the World, and the US not the US, does not seem to bother them. The US Constitution asserts that our rights do not come from the government. We just have them, and the government has no right to abridge them. And it calls for three competing lobes of government which can't collude against the people. Lincoln founded the Republican Party in 1854 specifically to defend the Constitution, and suddenly the Democrats were in danger of being seen as who they always were. They had no choice but to try to slander Republicans and hide behind white hoods so they would not be identified as those intimidating former slaves from voting Republican. Democrat voters may have realized that they were supporting crooks all along, but in those days losing face over bad choices often made them publicly dishonest, and willing to support Democrat slander of Republicans. That continues to this day. The dupes of Marxism and their sympathizers are also about power, and disposing the Constitution, so they are natural partners with the Democrats in slandering Republicans, and doing their best to slip everything they can past the voters to compromise the Constitution. Democrats and the dupes of Marxism and their sympathizers have always been about deception, corruption, theft of legislative funds to steal elections, slander of Republicans, and destruction of the Constitution by installing Deep State operatives cutting across all three lobes of government, making collusion against the people now possible. Anyone with any sense will now see the destruction of our society at their hands, will have questions about how the FBI, Department of State, CIA and Department of Justice have been operating, and that they must vote out every single Democrat and Marxist with prejudice to begin to restore our nation.
Our very own Chernobyl.

Phosgene gas is heavier than air. The way to handle that is clear the area downwind for many miles, until the wind can disperse it. Potentially the worst, but hopefully anyone seeing it coming got away before breathing much of it. The lady's chickens 10 miles downwind were probably killed by phosgene - especially if the coop is in a low valley. Birds are more sensitive to gasses like that. The carbonaceous cloud aloft is probably mostly poorly combusted plastics and partly burned vinyl chloride. It doesn't take much plastic to create a cloud like that. If you've ever witnessed a car fire, you've seen that. The Ohio train wreck looks like the equivalent of dozens of cars on fire, or a junkyard full of tires. Bad, but nothing like a volcano. Most of the other chemicals were volatile and have probably already evaporated and blown away. The worst may be the ethylene glycol. It probably went into the ground. Its going to be a treasure trove of litigation for opportunists who will claim damages. Some will be justified. As for the trains, safety always improves for a while after incidents like these.

Elon Musk CRUSHES One World Government [youtube.
TimTuolomne comments on Feb 15, 2023:
As far as I know, every organizational psychology study on accountability in large groups of people shows that accountability begins to evaporate in groups over a few thousand people. Large corporations, giant churches, countries, states and even some counties are large enough that only by exotic measures, some kind of unusual philosophical devotion like patriotism, fanaticism of some kind, or tyrannical coercion in the short term can create more accountability in such large organizations. Our founding fathers were a loose association of less than a few hundred people, and everyone new who everyone else was. They knew who they could trust, and who were the alcoholics. The governments of the colonies were a few hundred people. No one was going to get away with stealing legislated funds like they do today. Those who want big government may not realize exactly why they do, but most of us know intuitively that accountability gets shiftier, and that bigger government is an opportunity for those motivated by power to grab more of it. And more power under the US Constitution is anti-Constitutional. So how much power would a "One World Order" be? Pretty much all of the marbles, and pretty much at the expense of Liberty for the entire planet. Most of us are "Live and let live." But a small percentage of us are sociopaths, willing to grab power however they can. With very few exceptions, they are the thousands of despotic leaders throughout history who have benefited at the expense of the Liberty of their subjects. In the US, power is limited by the Constitution. One party could have declared it was the party of defense of the Constitution since its founding, but never did: Democrats, many of whom have openly stated that the Constitution does not give the government enough power. So how motivated would a sociopath be to try to be King of the World? How motivated are people like Gates, Soros, Rothschild, Bezos, Zuckerberg....? Hitler? Schwab? A World government does not end well for humanity.

I guess Musk has a long way to go to root out the cockroaches in Twitter. There are going to be many without ethics, integrity or honesty and strength of character enough to admit who they are and what they stand for, who are willing to deceive, and intimidate behind the veil of anonymity. Passive-aggressive cowards. I find it difficult not to hope that they will find themselves victimized as well by the very World they are creating. If they are lucky, justice for all will prevail, including them. Twitter is much like the larger US, in which the Deep State are the cowardly underbelly of our society which passive-aggressively work secretly to undermine the goodness and essential fabric of our society. In our Constitutional Republic, if they were in the right, they could be open and honest. They are none of that, and are a criminal threat to our society. We all have the duty to look for them and do what it takes to shine light on them brightly enough that we never forget who they are.
Fortunately there are still a few which see through the scam.

Well done. So Roberts has proved that not all Aussies are playing the violin as Rome burns. The history of CO2 plotted against temperature on Earth proves conclusively that temperatures often rose hundreds of years BEFORE CO2. These facts are not models but data. They also prove that when CO2 levels were 6 times higher than today that there were huge verdant forests, which were not burnt down by global warming. Then there is water vapor and methane, both a magnitude greater in effect as greenhouse gasses than CO2, and two magnitudes greater in quantity. Combined, they should have had a greenhouse effect thousands of times greater than CO2, and if CO2 were nearly as dangerous as climate alarmists claim, the Earth would have been a smoking ruin millions of years ago due to methane and water vapor. Then there are the actual temperature records, not confirming all those models climate alarmists created. Turns out that if you plug in actual weather data decades ago into those models and let them run, NONE of them work to predict the actual weather we had. No cigar. Finally the beaches are pretty much where they were in 1976 when the New York Times first claimed Global Warming was going to put New York City and Florida under water by 2010. Oops. But the worst gaff of all is the failure of these Chicken Little minds to notice that CO2 is at the lowest levels in the history of the Earth, and that all plant life on Earth depends on CO2 not dropping lower than about 160PPM. If we were to succeed in reducing CO2 as it also declines naturally, we soon would not be able to breathe, because the Oxygen we breathe only comes from plants. As a less than perfect person, I would probably be enjoying some schadenfreude as I watched climate alarmists gasping their last, if I weren't doing the same. Climate alarmists are fear driven, intellectually dishonest, control freaks who should never be allowed anywhere near public office.

Every successful advanced nation is built by individuals who were able to convince those with money to lend it to them to build something. Everyone except those trying to rewrite history (Obama) can find that from the beginning of humankind. Lots of entrepreneurs build a community. Lots of communities make a province. And provinces make a country. Those hired or pressed into service - whether or not fairly or for room & board, are the employees without whom something could not be most easily built. But without the investor and the one driving the work, those workers would have done nothing but just live life until they died. Practically anyone with any sense knows that. Anyone who thinks differently couldn't think themselves out of a cul-de sac.

Amazing isn't it that advanced alien technology somehow got here, and our Air Force is able to shoot them down easily? FYI, we now know enough about the history of the Universe to be certain that there are no advanced species beyond us in the Universe. How do we Know? Because we can be reasonably certain that our Sun is the oldest star capable of creating Earthlike planets. The chance of their being an older one is vanishingly small. ET is probably not even green slime yet. So what is the military spending money on studying UFOs when they certainly know this? That is what you should be concerned about.

It was probably not that unusual in the 50s, but my single mom could not afford new clothes for me, and there were not as many thrift shops in those days. I was sent home from school sometimes for not being dressed respectfully for the school, even though it was the best I had. Having two parents who could afford better but didn't care, might have been a little better. What is odd, is that kids today are often intentionally dressed worse than I was, and seem to be regarded as displaying high fashion sense. Crazy World.

If anyone bothers to look at the history of the Democrats since the party was founded in 1828, they will see that Democrats today are acting perfectly in character. The Democrat party is simply the party of power, fraud, deception and slander. And if they bother to check honestly into the Republican party, which was founded to defend the Constitution, they will realize that Democrats have slandered the party that was trying to protect the rights of every American all along, and that they bought into it. If they have a heart at all, they will feel ashamed.

The TRUTH Behind the Ohio Train DERAILMENT and Media BLACKOUT [youtube.
TimTuolomne comments on Feb 14, 2023:
There's no media blackout, just the legacy media being what they are: useless. If its not some kind of propaganda talking point on the AP, they are not reporting it. Trains have always been among the most vulnerable of soft targets in the US. And now that Antifa (The militant arm of the Democrats) is apparently instituting a new phase to destabilize our society, it would not be difficult for them to attack more trains and other soft targets. Any civil society like the US is vulnerable to such attacks, and must act pro-actively and decisively to interdict every law breaker - a habit which law enforcement is no longer reinforcing since Democrats insist that they behave with political correctness. I suggest that Democrats now take the train. If they won't, I suggest we insist.

“It takes no more research than a trip to almost any public library or college to show the incredibly lopsided coverage of slavery in the United States or in the Western Hemisphere, as compared to the meager writings on even larger number of Africans enslaved in the Islamic countries of the Middle East and North Africa, not to mention the vast numbers of Europeans also enslaved in centuries past in the Islamic world and within Europe itself. At least a million Europeans were enslaved by North African pirates alone from 1500 to 1800, and some Europeans slaves were still being sold on the auction blocks in the Egypt, years after the Emancipation Proclamation freed blacks in the United States.” ― Thomas Sowell, Black Rednecks and White Liberals

The big tragedy about tyranny, is that even though it usually does not survive very long against the force of human nature, restoration from tyranny almost always costs lives and suffering. The big mystery is that no matter how many times tyranny is tried and fails in history - which so far is every time, except for the moment yet to be proved in China, so thousands of times in history; there is always someone willing to try again. And it never ends well for a tyrant.

They really don't have to care what people think, and the more likely they are to be delusional.
