Yah, I know the feeling. Hopping around frantically and then getting the heart back down to "still living" levels. Out thisaway we have what are called globe spiders. The little bastids (not so little, abdomens the size of grapes) can spin a web overnight -- almost always right across walkways. Almost always right at face level. Have no bloody idea what they hope to catch. The only things small enough to not blast right thru are hummers. And, catching one of them would be like catching a hand grenade. I've almost swallowed one or more of them in walking blithely about . Each spring is a jihad -- walk the yard with bug spray in hand.

What is this dosh that Tesla has taken from Gov'mt? Like all EV manufacturers, Tesla accepted subsidy. Stupid if it did not. But, Tesla is only one to pay back. Which might explain why they are not invited to any meeting with BeijingBiden. Blaming global warming on battery fires is ........... just silly. EV is bad tech. Just like windmills and solar. Until battery tech is reliable they are a dead end path. But, since the commie trash in control personally benefit from it via "campaign donations" it will continue.
