I have many thoughts, the first being that this is a lot to digest. You lost me a bit when you talked about the Frankfurt School. I'll have to dig into that. But overall, I think you make a number of points that are hard to argue with, even if our conclusions might differ (mine are admittedly less definitive). The videos you included are very interesting. I plan to give them another view. One thing we both agree on...there are rich, powerful, and influencial people who want to fundamentally transform the world, and the US is the critical piece of the puzzle for them. Turn the US, the rest will follow.

I've never cut off friends or family over politics because that runs completely counter to what it means to be a friend. I have, however, stopped following people on FB for posting hateful rants that show a serious lack of intellectual honesty. I'm fine with violent differences of opinion. But keep it respectful, and show that you actually think about things rather than regurgitating a bunch of check boxes I've heard a dozen times.

I live here, and I was appalled by what this young woman has to face. Some are crying foul that the shooter walked, but the grand jury determined her actions were consistent with Stand Your Ground laws, so I don't have a bone to pick there. But this young woman chose to have her baby. She didn't choose abortion. If she had, the result would be the same...the tragic death of an unborn child. Someone please explain to me why the willful termination of an unborn child is ok, but the unplanned, unwanted, accidental killing of the unborn is manslaughter.

coalburned comments on Jul 23, 2020:
Because she's more of a threat than Trump. Candace is smart, intelligent, articulate, young, black, and conservative. That has to scare the hell out of the Left. She's never shot herself in the foot. When she speaks, she comes off well-prepared, knowledgeable, and confident. She has no problem taking on opposing views. But most of all, I think people hate her because she's black, and being very attractive probably chafes a lot of people, too. See, the Left has had the black community at large in their back pocket for decades. You're starting to see more and more blacks show their conservative leanings (I'm sure Larry Elder and Kevin at Kevin's Corner get a lot of hate, too). And my guess is, once they're in the voting booth, an ever-increasing number of blacks are voting along conservative lines. So someone like Candace, who speaks a lot of truth, is a huge threat to the Left, which is completely over-matched when it comes to challenging her, and we know what they do when that happens....they spew hatred, labels, lies, and fake news.

Good article. Maybe one of the reasons the left hates Trump is because he's beating them at their own game? The article touches on many of my thoughts about Trump. Many appreciate his tactics, but I'm one of those saddened by his stooping down to the level of his opponent. Alinsky and his ilk were/are a collective pile of excrement imo. Why join them? On one hand I can't argue that it's worked. But on the other, I've always had a difficult time with the end justifying the means.
