In the plot, the lower the element, the more squeezable it is. These are elements with low world production. Nickel has large production and wouldn't seem squeezable. This price spike is epic. Somebody took a hit.

Then, Russia was kicked out of the World Cup. They've been kicked out of all international soccer competitions. They've also been kicked out of hockey and curling.
Lance Armstrong was kicked out of every sport that exists, including hopscotch. The same may happen to Russia.
South Africa was excluded from international rugby during the apartheid era. That really hurts. Sports boycotts work.
Formula-1 canceled its 2022 race in Russia.

Switzerland defeated Italy in the group stage, which means that Italy has to win two playoff games to qualify. They have to beat North Macedonia, and then the winner of Portugal vs. Turkey.
Ukraine made the qualifying playoffs and to qualify for the world cup, they have to beat Scotland, and then the winner of Wales vs. Austria.
