I thought the PC rule was that white conservatives weren't even allowed to parody black celebrities, let alone artificially darken their skin in the process... If #AlyssaMilano was a conservative, where would the line be drawn? Straight through her? #cancelculture

Quite frankly I see nothing wrong with this. She is not targetting or making fun of Latino people in general so I don't think this is racist. She is making fun of one specific person in particular. A person who is in the public eye so up for ridicule I'm afraid.

However, in the UK, we have a comedian by the name of Leigh Francis who was held up by left wing media for his portrayal of well-known black people in the UK - singers and a tv presenter. Again I saw no issue with this, but that did not stop him from making a grovelling apology on Instagram, crying and sobbing for being 'uneducated'.

It seems that if the left attack someone for being racist, it is emphatically racist. But if the right attack someone for the same crimes, they are told to fuck off. Sounds like nonsense to me.

So when does it become "insensitive"?
Not sure when you'd cross the line from really dark fake tan to "black face". Someone should make a color scale marking the exact tint of fake black so we know when to be properly outraged.....
