splitting hairs we are still being told how to behave if we do not then threats
@ieuan I agree because both are restrictions on liberty. However, define 'threats' because in MOST cases the threats are empty. Like 25,000 people showing up at a 'closed' beach. Or RACIST!!!
Yes, many companies are willing to fire people for ANY claim of behavior outside work or in the deep past and that threat, hollow that it might be for many, is enough to 'chill' speech and behavior.
Maybe it is up to us that can't be cowed by threats that have no power to stand up.
