Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Some of what went on at that riot appears to have been clear self-defense. Obviously, when self-defense occurs, there is an aggressor. Hopefully justice will be served for all involved.
A person who acts in self-defense and injures or kills another person should present themselves to police to assist in the investigation, and it is not necessarily unreasonable for such a person to be detained by police pending the results of the investigation.
