...and if they were "your business" then so too would the health and taxes of people like Nancy Pelosi...

@TheMiddleWay to be fair if any elected official is going to use tax and health info as fodder for attacking rivals then the ONY fair solution is to make all such information on all elected officials known to the general public. You know - the "people who live in glass houses..."
And now that I think about it if so called "Journalists" are going to play the game as to who is more or less virtuous then their personal info should be readily available as well.

Howdy @TheBellTower,

I certainly agree the taxes, but his health?

In 1919 Woodrow Wilson suffered a severe stroke which incapacitated him for the rest of his term. His doctor refused to sign a statement of disability. He was hidden in the residence of the White House and his wife Edith became the defacto president.

In 1944 a withered, frail FDR ran for his 4th term of office. A Navy medical memo said he would likely die in office. Yet he ran anyway. The Democratic Party of the time saw his frailty and replaced Vice President Henry Wallace with Harry Truman, who turned out to be a pretty good president.

So a President's health can be very important to the rest of the country.

I certainly think a president’s health is important. I don’t think every detail of his vitals are important. There’s a difference between disclosing a president’s condition and demanding every detail so you can sanctimoniously declare a coverup if some item of minutiae doesn’t fit the approved narrative.

I should this is a link to an actual blog post about this.

@TheMiddleWay Like HIPAA? (Designed to keep your personal medical info private so that others can’t exploit it for their benefit)

@TheMiddleWay I guess they feel it’s similar to the military where we give up most of our rights in order to protect the rights of the rest of America. Not sure I agree with them though.

So... Trump and his supporters should stop bringing up Biden's health?

They should certainly stop mocking it but it seems to have backfired as Biden did not look senile and any time he looked close to stumbling, Trump interrupted him.

@TheBellTower the best strategy is to just sit back and let them talk. Eventually they will both say something stupid.
