Win or lose the fact is that we have two groups of people in the country that hate each other. There is no bridging this divide. It seems increasingly likely that there will be a break up. Or, at best, home rule for the states and a return to federalism (not likely, they prefer to have us as serfs, under their thumb forever).Anyone see an alternative outcome I’m missing?

it has nothing to do with hating each other. if your party wins so do you if you have a job and connections to the right party. its all graft today, everyone is greasing someone else's palm. i have to look at trump who does not take a pay check. he is not there for the money. not all can be happy with his decisions. i think trump is the greatest.

It is possible that we will need to unite due to the war that seems to be coming against our country.

I think you have pro CPP, Marxism and pro-capitalism, pro God and the two are opposite poles. I thought Biden had been proven corrupt, a liar, a hypocritical, pedophile(online interest in very young girls)
And the left would hate Trump's ways, be unable to be part of that.
Too extreme.
In marriage, it's called irreconcilable differences, and they divorce.
US is a big country, room to divide it. Run it as each thinks good.
Might it lead to civil war? It shouldn't have to.

Agree. It shouldn’t have to but these people are incapable of leaving anyone alone. They will never countenance us going our own way peacefully
