In other words, the ice isn't melting as fast as they claimed.

The CS2 thickness observed later than that of ICESat was found to be thicker, contradicting the thinning expected under global warming conditions. Correcting for the 50‐cm difference between ICESat or CS2 data revealed trends in ice volume that are consistent with the expected and modeled declines in the Pan‐Arctic Ice‐Ocean Modeling and Assimilation System (PIOMAS) data, further corroborating the 50 centimeters of relative bias observed between the two datasets.

One could imagine that a Canadian and a Hawaiian might have different opinions
about the right temperature for the Earth.

If the Earth warmed, imagine the vast Canadian land it opens up. That land has
vast rivers and would become an agricultural superpower. What a pity that those
rivers aren't being harnessed.

Tropical nations are losing land to sea level rise. No pity. They have tropic
privilege. They have palm trees and Canada has tundra.

Sea level has erased 50000 km^2 of land but humans have created 25000 km^2 of
new land. We can easily create land faster than the ocean takes it. Plus
beach front property has value. The land created has more value than the cost of
creating it.

I believe in global warming but the scientists are activists and manipulate the data because by any means necessary.

We don't know if the Earth is warming beyond a good temp, or is just beginning to approach one. Until science can say what is the 'right' temperature, whether we are warming or cooling is irrelevant.

@tracycoyle

Certainly co2 levels were alarmingly low. There are risks that are not being evaluated.

@wolfhnd Like a recurring micro-nova? like the migration of the magnetic poles? like the weakening magnetic shield? like the solar minimum? like cloud forcing? There are lots of variables in our climate not being evaluated. Like every "model" being wrong.

I won't concede a premise based upon CO2.
