Food for thought from David Anthony:

People are concerned about sending anything of value in the mail. There was a story last night about check washing. Postal workers were altering checks sent in the mail and cashing them.

Bottom line: We may not be able to conduct business through the mail, so we are encouraged to go digital and pay everything online.

Last month the Federal Reserve gets hacked undermining digital transactions nationwide. This morning there are more stories about Chinese and Russian hacks making credit card transactions and doing business with companies insecure.

So we can’t pay in cash, we can’t write a check and now credit cards and digital transactions are becoming unsafe.

No one in the media connecting the dots. No one in Congress raising the issue. The FBI is finding right wing supremacists terrorists under every rock, but can’t seem to get a handle on this.

The government is oblivious to its basic function of creating an environment where an economy works.

What happens when no one can trust anyone to get business done?

Chaos. That’s what will happen.

The uselessness of our intelligence agencies has been evident for decades. J. Edgar Hover.
