Can anyone provide some insight into the quality of artistry by Andrei Tarkovsky. Does he compare to artists such as Tolstoy or Dostoyevsky?

Darren Tartofsky is overrated. Requiem for a dream and The Wrestler were good and Pi was a decent debut, but his other movies are just kind of butty.

Also you left off Star Wars clone wars which was pretty sweet
I disagree. The fountain was a masterpiece. Its really deep but most people don't get it because it requires multuple viewings and reading between the lines.
