Politicians get donations from big business. Big business get access to government. Government then say exactly what the big business say. But then say it is for your best interest. So are they run by big business or for the people?

This way the mega corporations can run the government. Affecting policies to crush competition and cancel possible lawsuits. Eliminating smaller start ups and better goods or services.
We keep referring to Orwell. Sometimes Huxley or Kafka. But Philip Dick had some predictions come true as well. Including a "pre crime" division!

Well big business is beneficial from covid restrictions. Small Business forced to shop of get fined in $20000-$30000 range. But big department stores crowded.
30% of small businesses going bankrupt in Australia. But record profits for big shops. Another political donation doing it job
@Poncho69 5 small businesses in town. All still solvent even after lockdown.
Why? Neighbors looked out for each other instead of waiting on the government.
If we had better citizen "infrastructures" as extended families, churches/synagogues, local groups, they couldn't have pulled this off.
The real way to win this war is looking out for one another and telling Big Bro to get bent.
