I celebrated women's day today by making my 2 sons sandwiches.....bahaaaaa!
Interesting comment. Our soon to be son in law (30 YO) Had everything done for him by his mum. Can barely cook a piece of toast. BTW this probably works for my daughter because she likes to cook and he is a clean freak .... Something she is not. I digress. He recently got a job that took him away and he now has to look after himself food wise and he has no idea whatsoever how to look after himself ..... So he doesn't eat. Probably eating a lot of take away by now i would imagine!! ...
this makes me glad that i had my mom when the bully’s came she thought me how to stand when i wanted to cook for my first girl she tought my when it was time for me to stand on my own she put me out. All boys are momas boys and i glad that i had my mom
When I turned 18 my mother did two things for me
She took me out to the garage and showed me the washer & dryer and the operation thereof
She told me that I was and adult and I could do my own f@#king laundry < was a former Airforce hard@$$
Then she took me down to A&W root beer and introduced me to her boss who taught me how to cook
Then many years later I was watching the Galloping Gourmet and eating my Swanson TV dinner, he was cooking a dish that looked incredibly tasty and I said to my self
Self, why am I eating THIS when I could be eating THAT?
Don’t tell my wife, but I love you. By the way, she’s making me a sandwich right now
Good for you. How old are your sons? I love to see proud moms sharing time with their prodigy.
Haha.. Unfortunately boys grow to men.. Men then feign knowing how to make a sandwich.. haha..Been there..
Me too. Love my sons; but, they sure know how to "play" me. Lo...
