Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier was “relieved of command of the 11th Space Warning Squadron, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, May 14, due to loss of trust and confidence in his ability to lead...”
“[P]ublic comments” that [Lohmeier] made in a podcast were likely in reference to the spread of Marxist ideology within the military, which was detailed in Lohmeier’s recently self-published book, “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military.”
Lohmeier had appeared on the podcast “Information Operation” to promote his book, and during the show, he criticized Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s agenda.
A shame he got relieved of duty, all over a book. I understand the Military (those running the show that is) is free to run things as they see fit, but what exactly is in question here is was such a decision morally sound? Meanwhile, known far-left propaganda like CRT is being pushed in the branches of Military, and that is rather selective in my opinion, but try convincing progressives of that though. If the Military allows certain political or social-based propaganda from one side, then both political viewpoints should be free to contribute.
The military has long had restrictions on what military personal can publish and say in the political arena. You can read about it below. The article implies that in this case the military was bias against this right-leaning officer, which is what you would expect to hear from the right-wing rag "The Epoch Times." The military routinely bars this kind of activity on both left and right leaning commentaries of this sort. The article is clearly click-bait in an attempt to create unnecessary controversy.
The US military will soon have political officers (kommissars) just like the Red Army had.
#CriticalRaceTheory = #SystemRacism & #InstitutionalRacism & #Marxism!
Critical race theory, which draws heavily upon Marxist and postmodernist theories, denounces U.S. and Western culture as a form of oppression. Critics have said its proponents apply the Marxist tactic of “class struggle” to divide people along lines of race, gender, and ethnicity to label them “oppressors” and the “oppressed.”
