Although I agree that there is too much cowardice among Republicans on this issue, to be fair, they are afraid of more than Matt suggests here (unless I missed something he said). They are afraid of 24-7 coverage of how they are white supremacists that will last for months. They are afraid of being doxxed and having their homes and families attacked. And they are afraid of getting the kind of treatment Rep. Matt Gaetz has been getting from the Biden Department of (Social) Justice. I still think they should speak up, but we shouldn't minimize the dangers they are really facing. Nor should we imagine that Tulsi Gabbard is risking nearly as much. After all, they still count on her vote on many of their Democrat bills in the House.
