Disgusting Treatment of Conservatives on Slug

Seems it is not enough that you conservatives are silenced on every other platform, that you have no voice in the media, that you are called stupid and need to be sent to re-education camps. Seems on Slug, not much is different. Slug offered you a platform, promised freedom of speech and a place to discuss the issues of the day in a respectful environment. It is not delivering.

I say “you” as I am not a conservative myself. I’m a liberal who used to be considered far, far left before the libtards deemed anyone not woke to be a Nazi. I have expressed opinions on Slug which could be deemed conservative, but really were just me expressing disappointment at how my conservative brothers and sisters have been treated (President Trump being one of them), and expressing solidarity with conservatives in opposition to pinko, leso wokeism.

I have met many genuinely lovely people on here, experienced a palpable sense of community, and I am thankful that my fellow Aussie @DaisyCousins talked it up so much to get me to join. One such person I met early on used to go by the name of Ghengis, but due to his abhorrent treatment by @admin who handed him a 5 day ban, he has changed his name to Gone as he intends to leave. This man is an active serviceman in the USAF, a volunteer mentor to young men through boy scouts and runs their high adventure program. I expressed concern about my teenage son and what his woke school is doing to him psychologically, and he took the time to message me huge text-walls of sagely advice which as a father I have cherished. He’s obviously a busy man, yet generous with his time towards me, an unemployed single dad on the other side of the world. I think you would all agree that such a stand-up bloke is exactly who we want to be sticking around on this platform. It is people such as him who make Slug a worthwhile place to spend time in.

He commented on a post re Fauci’s shenanigans, and was subsequently baited by a smugly superior libtard. He began to interact in good faith, but this smug liberal, ignoring the facts decided to amuse himself by pushing his buttons. Ghenghis, becoming more and more incensed ended up calling him out as an enemy and a threat to the state of the nation. No direct threat was made by him (though one might infer antagonism and enmity, much deserved imo), but in true libtard fashion, the coward flagged his comments and Ghengis was hit with a 5 day ban. Seems cancel culture is alive and well here too, despite the fact that I have read comments expressing vile anti-Semitic sentiments which have gone unflagged. I'm OK with that really, and drew hope that it meant freedom of speech was indeed upheld on here.

Below is a link to the thread for you all to judge for yourselves. I am calling on @admin to lift this ban IMMEDIATELY! I will message admin to request this, but if he is not reinstated, I too will be leaving Slug forever in protest. I encourage ALL CONSERVATIVES to read the thread in question and judge for yourselves. If you deem it to be unfair, and Ghengis stays Gone, I encourage you to leave also. Such censorship and treatment of conservatives is unacceptable, and if allowed to continue, then Slug needs to be abandoned en masse. You can be treated in such a way on any platform these days. No need to come here for it.
