I really like the idea of the Department of Education becoming a tenth of its size, or non-existent, and the offering of vouchers to allow parents to pick any school they choose. I'm sure there will be down sides to this. Let's pick it apart? Competition vs Standardization?
Government schools are a really, really stupid idea. The very idea of sending your child away to the government to be indoctrinated for 12 years... it's amazing anyone fell for it, let alone anyone who is conservative or libertarian. It is the ultimate in big government program.
Charter schools anyone?
Great idea...but I want to hear the push back, what is the other side of this argument that doesn't start with a complaint about Betsy DeVos.
