If CBC is taxpayer-funded, that is the problem. Any media outlet taking govt money is also govt-monitored. It might as well be Pravda. I don't know what the legalese is there for this in Canada, so maybe you have no choice but to be monitored? Otherwise, media groups need to find some generous advertisers and cut the umbilical cord to the state. My sympathies, though. The media in all of North America and Europe is now the liberal fifth column, and one can't simply just start another one up, even if you have the capital to do so. Too many locked doors. I feel for the woman who had her page taken down. Youtube has been steadily nixing any page that they qualify as "conspiracy theory" for the last several months.

We take back our media by networking in places like IDW . We may not be Mega Media , but we are real people committed to our principles . They can't squeeze all of the air into one end of a balloon . We will pop out , somewhere .
