The NOAA (National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration), was accused of selecting the data and choosing the warmer temps whenever there was multiple readings.

The readings they commonly choose were from shipboard thermometers rather than the lower readings from weather bouys (talking ocean temps here)

Anyone who has ever been in an ocean going ship's engine room and has experienced the almost intolerable heat even though there is industrial grade ventilation knows a ship is a huge heat source

So, I'm personally sceptical about the NOAA's data

When you start name calling you are no longer offering any argument
