As Steven Pinker illustrated on @JoeRogan, we "have it better" than at any other time in history, yet the mainstream media, including social media, has increased their negative reporting so their hysteria now dominates social thought.
I believe it is entirely revenue driven - shocking and profane sells clicks. As well as a mechanism to keep the masses controlled through fear.
What can be done to change this? Anything?
