Since I've never seen a sculpture of the dead, in ancient Egypt, I'm assuming that this is a recent work. The ancients would NEVER represent the dead, as dead. Only in their new, afterlife form. Am I right?
Also, it appears to be a man and a woman. I find it interesting that you can see the mouth of the "mannish" form, but the female's is completely covered.
