I don't know that I identify as an "intellectual" but I enjoy intellectual pursuits and reasonable informed discourse. I love women. One gave me life, I’ve given another my life and helped give a third her life.
3rd wave feminism on the other hand is utter thrash as an ideology and counterproductive to society. It perpetuates victimhood mentality and no woman that I come into contact with think of themselves as anything other than masters of their own fate
. Nor do know any man that views women as anything but equals in every way. Not sure who you spend time with, but you may want to consider expanding your sphere of influence

So called 3rd wave feminism has little relationship to promoting rights for women. In the first place Western women have all the very same set of "rights" that men have - so it's pretty silly to say that modern feminism is helpful in any way with regard to being "about womens rights". Modern feminist movement is all about deconstructing Western Culture which they claim is built upon a foundation of "evil White Patriarchy". It is in fact an organized effort to replace free market capitalism and it's necessary component of individual liberty with a Socialistic form of governance. For unknown reasons people who identify as 3rd wave feminists fail to see that if they were to be successful in deconstructing Western free market capitalism and bringing about Socialism each of them will suffer along with everyone else in the austerity and privation that will inevitably result under Socialistic rule. If 3rd wave feminists think they are mistreated and denied rights and opportunities now they would be in for a big surprise living in the workers paradise of Cuba, Venezuela, N. Korea...
I think with the promise of free speech comes the typical abuses, as long as they get a reaction they will carry on. I think training like a disobedient dog is in order positive reinforcement all the way ignore the hate reward love they'll soon learn.

the problem is that some people think that the statement of a competing idea is equivalent to abuse. these would be people who need "safe space" when speakers like Ben Shapiro, or Jordan Peterson or Ann Coulter have been invited to speak on a given college campus.
You may be. I don’t see it. I love women. I hate modern feminists.

@Dunne My wife. She is a traditional feminist who seeks equal opportunity to men and typically gets it. She doesn’t see the need to define masculinity as dangerous, toxic or negative. She sought out a strong man and is raising four of them. I don’t hate feminists. I love many of them. I hate modern “feminists’ who seek to define masculinity as toxic and to hold boys and men down.

@Dunne yes I have seen this group...the only way forward is to use our skills in debate and conversation. I am going to wait a little before I attempt any dialog with them.
I don't get that impression . I don't see a preemptive hatred of women . I do see a backlash against militant man bashers, false accusers and baby killers .
