This is an interesting one for me. I fall into the camp of sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. This idea was etched into me by strong parenting and the roughness of public schooling in a low to middle class socioeconomic area. I sincerely believe it to be highly valuable, allowing people to speak to me freely, about anything without any sort of fear of reprisals, and in kind I feel free to speak my mind. Anything goes, I will play around with any idea any time.

Seriously, screw this idea of trigger words and stepping around people's emotions with language, except in only very special cases. It is almost guaranteed to stand in the way of truth telling and truth receiving which is what society needs.
