I disagree. To them, all of them, conservative, libertarian, blue collar white America is literally worse than Hitler. We are the 'enemy'. Those who are now too far to the right for the current set of tastes are gonna get relegated to the side lines, but they will never give up the fight against 'they enemy.'

@BastiatLives Maybe just wishful thinking on my part but their identity politics harbours rivals and division within it. The Union worker, the blue collar worker, and the Environmentalists are at odds in that the environmentalist kills jobs that the worker wants. The Islamists dislike the Jews, who traditionally vote democrat, as well as the LGBTQ community. The #Walkaway movement is leaving the Democrat party. The poor are starting to look askance at the democrats instead of the rich, whom democrats have forever labelled their oppressors. I don't know but it looks like a schism in the making that will take them twenty years to straighten out.

The dems lost 1000+ elections as the price for supporting Obumbles regardless as to how big a failure and and shit stirring traitor he was as president. Well McCain and Romney got my vote because the alternative was unthinkable so, like I have done repeatedly over the decades, I held my nose and voted “Against” a guy that even small amounts of research indicated would be a horror show.
Actually the concept of McCain croaking and Palin taking over was more than a little interesting to me...

Turns out Obama was the best thing that could happen to us ... I guess it simply took a swift kick to the family jewels to wake conservatives up ... and repeated kicking to get them to do something.

As to verbally ripping his opponents to shreds ... ab-So-lutely ... if there was no other reason, I would have voted for Trump just for doing that.
The Democrat Left has played every slimy underhanded trick in the book, smeared an uncountable number of quality candidates, struck terror into the “polite” republicans to the point they refuse to get involved. I’m going to have to remember that thing with the jack hammer. I’ve used one lots of times and even likened it’s action to doing that to rock ... it never occurred to me to consider the human element (Ouch!!!)
