Can't weigh in on any court rulings regarding state sanctioned killing that I am opposed to without feeling like a hypocrite.

I don't usually believe in the death penalty except in specific circumstances such as self confessions from obviously raving nutjobs ( if asked would they do it again?, they happily reply yes! ). But that being said when viewed from a larger perspective, the act itself is in actuality wasteful. Take a habitual pedophile for example..

The legal system knows just as well as the pedophile does that given the opportunity, they would continue their path of destruction. To this end, I have a " better " solution.

From a bean counters perspective it costs hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars per year to feed, and protect these vermin for the privilege of incarceration for the rest of their lives.
Instead? - why not sedate them, cut the brain stem, place them on life-support and use them as " donors " for harvesting ? There are many advantages:

1: They will never escape

2: They will never re-offend

3: They will never clog up the legal system again

4: they will never cause harm to another child

5: They no longer need to be fed or guarded for many years.

6: They WILL ( like it or NOT! ) give BACK to society in the form of providing MUCH needed organs to those who are suffering with ( in some cases terminal illnesses ) through no fault of their own - let alone help to restore sight, and many other benefits.

To keep such people alive is a huge financial burden to the tax payer of hundreds of thousands per year for many many years - or? around $5000 for 2-3 weeks on a life support system....to help ( at the very least ) 10 other people live a longer life through their donation.

Murder is generally defined, in a legal sense, as the killing of a human being with malice aforethought (planning). Therefore, the death penalty and abortion fail that simple test.

Justice is often painful. But always necessary.

I really think the most humane method of execution is by firing squad.
I also believe that if someone gives false testimony to convict one of a Capitol crime they should be tried for murder.
