A decision to invite a Muslim cleric to say a prayer at an Anzac Day service has sparked an anguished backlash from veterans.

*The Returned and Services Association (RSA) branch at Titahi Bay near Wellington has moved the Muslim prayer from its 6am dawn service to its 10am civic ceremony after some veterans said the dawn service should remember only NZ and Australian soldiers who have died in wars.

The backlash has exposed sensitive emotions around a sacred day in the New Zealand calendar as the nation struggles to become more "inclusive" after 50 Muslims were shot dead in the Christchurch mosque massacre.

Why does this matter?

The ANZAC (Australia - New Zealand Army Corps) services across New Zealand, remind us of the loss of life in wars where NZ servicemen shed their blood to ensure the freedoms of this country. One of the bloodiest was Gallipoli Cove on the shores of Turkey, Fighting the Turks.

These freedoms, so enjoyed by Muslims, are not available to ex-servicemen, such as freedom to feel uncomfortable with Islam, Freedom to choose to smoke a cigarette (banned in NZ services) Freedom to speak, carry a gun ... etc. Now they are expected to listen , and maybe join in with the prayer of the enemy, they fought as recently as Afganistan & Syria. And love its peace.

This is adding insult to injury, and given the banning of free speech in this country (now called a Hate Crime) along with the suppression of criticism of Islam, is driving the deep divides of many New Zealander's to breaking point.

The international perception, Carefully managed to show love and acceptance, has left many feeling that the country of their birth no longer wants them, and that they cannot express concerns, without the Police state beating down their front doors, and dragging them off to prison (or worse). Meanwhile Black power (a gang in NZ) has stated it will not hand over it's guns , as only white people are responsible for hate crimes with guns.

New Zealand is a victim of it's own propaganda, and must shake off the blindfolds, and accept its division before the society tears itself apart. This crossing of the line into the memory of New Zealand lives lost in battle, may mark the start of either a turning point in protecting freedoms of white males, or it will be the catalyst for white division, and potentially a civil war, One New Zealand is not ready for, and not equipped for. The fact one man alone, with a gun did so much damage, shows our police are not equipped for this type of warfare.

If the white hate is not stopped, then what happens next may be a mirror of the state of much of the middle east, and even some parts of Europe.

In the words of our national anthem. "From dissention, envy Hate, and Corruption Guard our state, Make our country Good and great, God defend New Zealand"

Perhaps this should be what we sing at the services instead. (And yes, The government wants to change that too, But thats a different post.)

Protecting the integrity of history, is not hate.

Our ANZACS fought and died to maintain our Freedoms. It is sickening to see them being whittled away bit by bit. They want to broadcast the Islamic Call To Prayer as part of an ANZAC ceremony in New Zealand. Has the modern politician forgotten the sacrifices of the men and women of the Armed Forces? Have they forgotten the lives lost at Gallipoli and other theaters of war ? I could be wrong but I think the Prime Minister of New Zealand is after a Nobel Peace Prize!!

Sigh! I feel for you. The same thing is happening in the UK and Europe. The UK government is so politically correct that Islam shall not be criticized and there is a strong tendency of favouring the Muslim community over the others. They are even allowed to run Sharia courts in th UK, would you believe it! Hence we have Tommy Robinson. A young working-class lad became an iconic figure to represent thousands of ordinary British people. He is a byproduct of political struggles. This is the toxin of identity politics and this is the mind game the ideologues (and the shooter Tarrant) want us play and we're all falling for it. We have to wake up.
