I have read articles and watched videos comparing Nazi and Communist regimes. The question always comes up, "which is worse?". The question begs the question. It's like asking which flavor of strychnine you prefer.

Any political system that deliberately tries to control every aspect of society to serve a hatred is totalitarian. It does not matter if that hatred is racial, ethnic, religious or economic class. Its inevitable result is totalitarian monstrosity.

Hitler killed millions. So did Stalin, and Mao Tse Tung, and Pol Pot, and Ceausescu, and Kim il Sung. Others did not make "the big leagues" only because they presided over small countries.

Stalin deliberately caused the Holodomor (the Great Ukrainian Famine of 1932-33) to eliminate independent farmers. The next Soviet census showed six million fewer Ukrainians. Stalin had the statisticians executed.

Flash forward to today. Venezuela has a severe malnutrition problem. Maduro solved it by making it a prison offense to list starvation as a cause of death. As the song famously says, "and the beat goes on..."

Nazism, Fascism, Communism, Khmer Rouge, Bolivarian Revolution... They're all totalitarian monsters.

A slave is a slave and dead is dead. Short-sighted idealism is the path. Always.

Gramscian Marxism is working well for them. More subtle, but just as deadly. They institutionalize ideological hegemony and dehumanize thought criminals. It's OK to hate, batter, and kill literal NAZIs, right?

Hitler was a Commie

The left once had the same love affair with Hitler they had with other commies. I say other commies because I make no distinction. Hitler was a commie. The left decided to disassociate themselves with him when the world discovered his atrocities, and they could no longer hide them. The argument became, “Hitler hated communists,” when the truth all along was that he hated OTHER communists, as he hated pretty much everyone that was in his way of global domination. Anyone who believes the National Socialist (Nazi) Party was anything but a commie enterprise should take another look. The left and the media (inextricably linked) used the opportunity to trumpet far and wide that Hitler was motivated by his nationalist tendencies, so that they could cement his name on the political “Right” (something that only exists at the pleasure of the left in order to create a center, and give the left a sense of proximity to the mainstream)

Hitler was a nationalist, but so was Churchill, and so was Gandhi for that matter. What has been overlooked for decades is what they want to keep hidden about Hitler, and that is his communist tendencies. Nazi Germany was a nation whose government was a de facto partner in every one of industries, having the controlling stake in all said, universal healthcare, and dozens of mandates for its citizens (those citizens allowed to live that is).

The left wants you to see only the difference between Hitler and it’s other Commie heartthrobs, and for the life of me, I don’t have a clue what those differences are. They don’t want you to see the much more prevalent common ground he had with Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc, most of whom he operated to the left of, and it happened ONLY because the world took notice of his atrocities.

Socialism was designed to fail. It falls to the tyranny of the elite, be they communists or fascists.

I don't really see the difference. In communism the government owns everything and says what people can do with it. In fascism individuals own things but, they have to do what the government says with them. I define ownership as control. So the systems are equivalent. The government controls all property under both systems.

Totalitarian rule is bad, either way. However, national Socialism (Naziism) was based mainly on increased production and rewarded productive people. Communism is nothing less than Power, backed by Force, and promising equal outcomes for all--totally impossible except until the outcome is universal poverty and the total Police State. The Nazi party arose in Germany as a fight for survival against the communists (and their financiers) in Russian and in Europe.

And the Holodomor was covered up by Walter Duranty of the New York Times. They still have his name up on the wall for his Pulitzer prize. This has been going on for a century. It's time for people, perhaps we deplorables, to wake up the people to the way they have been manipulated and lied to for a century.
