Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The Preamble of the Constitution of the United States opens with the words, "We the people of the United States...." So long as it was tended by the same body the Constitution functioned as planned. But once we, the people of the United States, looked upon the government as our rulers they became so and the Constitution of the United States was slowly eroded until it is seldom even referenced by the people who work in the government.
