Well I am a member of our national Progressive Conservative party and I had every intention of voting Conservative in this upcoming election just as I have done for years but this year I won't.
The reason is because our party's leader, Andree Scheer, photographed himself in Toronto with a group of Muslim Imams and stated his support for multiculturalism and opposition to anti Muslim bigotry.
I had hoped that he wouldn't go down the road of Muslim appeasement but he just couldn't do it. He is saying that any problems we as non-Muslims may have with Muslims are all in OUR head and he has again made being Muslim a race that is beyond criticism when it isn't a race nor a religion but a political movement with supremacist aspirations.
Scheer has proven himself to be a Trudeau clone who panders to the Muslim community and the Left's White derangement syndrome.
I will instead be casting a protest for Maxime Bernier, the leader of the new Peoples Party of Canada. He also previously vied against Andrew Scheer for the leadership of the Conservative party but he lost.
His campaign platform does not cater to the incessant demands and false claims of the Left and Muslim communities. His campaign may be our last chance to regain our free speech and arrest the Islamic takeover of our country.
I don't expect him to win but I'm hoping that he will receive enough votes to be a player in any government that is formed.

No one has mentioned Tim Moen of the Libertarian Party. I’m curious why not. (Personally, I trust him the most.)

You might be interested in following him on Facebook. He’s very intelligent, articulate, decent. ? A bit of a rarity!

I will vote for Bernier in the incoming election, however I think he really should start making more noise,
too few people know him and he has to deal with all those leftists medias slanders before reaching to a wider audience.

The Globalists are backing and funding the CPC as well as the liberals. Scheer owes his alegiance to those who funded his β€œwin” ... corrupt as we hear it was, I’m reluctant to call his leadership a win for Scheer...more like a win for the cartel arm of the UN Globalists!
We weren’t even going to bother voting in Oct. libs and Cons are heading to the same place, on the same road! Same party!
We were so happy Max started the PPC with a principled platform that we, in this household, agreed with! Wow! PPC has our vote for sure!

I was appallingly astounded, who could know?

That's exactly how I feel, Chicago. I'm so disappointed in Andrew Scheer, but I'm willing to give him one more chance. I'm worried that the PPC will split the conservative vote, which would lead to another Liberal government, but I guess that's not a good enough reason to vote one way or another. Still thinking about it, though. Keep up the great posts!

I understand exactly where you're at on this. I have a friend who shares your opinion also. I guess I am really worried that Scheer seems to be more than eager to side with the Liberals instead of a former Conservative. Scheer doesn't seem to care about the fact that there are still a lot of Maxime supporters in the CPC and that they share his views still.
If I were Scheer I would be concerned more about creating more disaffected Conservative members than with matching Trudeau step for step on social issues. What mystifies me is that he doesn't care. Maxime is more of a friend to Scheer than Trudeau is and it would be good for Scheer to try to keep the Conservative family together.
I don't understand at all, the person who is advising Scheer.

@Chicago Scheer lost all credibility during the leadership convention, when he sponsored the mysterious midnight ballot shredding session immediately after his 1% "victory" over Maxime Bernier! I would vote NDP or even Green, before letting Mr Dairy Cartel gain the throne.
I’m so grateful the PPC is offering a reasonable choice to Canadians.

I hear you but the "Islamic takeover of our country" is pretty alarmist. I live in BC. Though Euro Canadians are now a minority in Vancouver, most new Canadians hail from China or India. Richmond is now a Chinese city whereas Surrey is Sikh. The Muslim community is a small minority... not sure how things are in Ontario and Quebec...

@preacher12 Exactly.

We need proportional representation in Canadian federal politics. Let us vote for policies we support, instead of voting "strategically".

That will back fire on us as the Muslim population gets larger because it will allow a Muslim party to exist even faster than it otherwise would. Our only other choice would be to rule that Islam isn't a religion, which it in fact is true. We would have to cut off more Muslim immigration and start bringing in non-Muslims exclusively. We also have to put our foot down on outlawing polygamy.

@Chicago I agree with most of what you say, but disagree about the "back fire". With PR, there will be a better chance of combating the regressive leftism which ironically promotes the propagation of the right-wing Islam political ideology.

@Chicago

I'm posting this where ever I can....people need to wake up!

@WhiteRose i agree with you 100%. I've been following Anni for more than 4yrs now. She kind of comes and goes because she has some debilitating health issues arising from the physical beatings that she suffered in her marriage and when she was in custody.

I think just knowing this party supports the U.N is enough to make me want to run away!
This past fall Maxime Bernier began a friendly chat with average Canadians on Twitter about these kinds of subjects..and then it all started..Mr.Scheer pushed Maxime out of the Party! We started a discussion on what Canadians would look for in a new party!
And well here is our brand new grown from the roots of Canada, The Peoples Party of Canada...every single word was important to us! #PPC2019 folks come join us πŸ™‚

Our Conservative politicians at all levels of government seem to be woefully ignorant of the ideological social roots of tyrannical Socialism or else don't care. Either way free speech, the preservation of parental authority and the protection of our school system from Leftist propaganda are things that they don't seem to be capable of fighting for.
The intellectual depth of our political leadership is just not there.
