Can anyone educate me on the Wiki leaks and Assange controversy? An overview w out a motive to sway my opinion? Just facts? I have read so many articles that just feel like propaganda. Thank you in advance.

I did a lot of watching yesterday. Mostly idw personalities. I have a better knowledge of the situation. Thank you all. I can see both sides of the debate. I am reserved on vilifying Assange for the simple fact that he releases facts! Our entire global corruption of govt and military is run by a few. Supported by all, if we all remain in a propaganda fueled haze. I understand his declassified leaks were putting American Americans at risk. But our own govt and political agendas have killed thousands of our men and women. Not to speak of the greed of the 1%. So I guess my moral dilemma is....what do we all sacrifice for knowing the truth? And what do we do about it??

The Deep state as the President calls them, Satan worshipers as i call them are connected world wide. If anyone has seached though the emails leaked as i have and other's have. you would see why there could very well be a reason to shut him down by the CIA the few who have taken the time to do so can see the connection forming in the sadistic pleasure of pedophilia in power and Hollywood and child trafficking and the CIA + government's word wide churches ect.
The world as we know it's a stage they are actor's we are the audience behind the seen is who they really are

E mail leaks are majority of what they do that is why the 100% accuracy rating you won't find that rating any place else.

Did anybody notice, that when the Hillary and DNC stuff was released by Wiki... every bit of the effort was to discredit him and question the methods used to obtain the information. Other than a few Libs and avid Hillary fans, nobody denied the legitimacy of the information released. At least, to my knowledge.

Unless it can be proven that Assange has been compromised and was knowingly dealing from the bottom of the deck to wreck the Clinton campaign and withheld dirt on Trump, why should he be treated any differently than Bradley Manning?

This concerns me also.

Wikileaks has a 100% accuracy rating why? Because they release nothing but the word's the people used themselves! Now why would anyone want to discredit them in anyway i wonder? 100% since 2006!!!

He has ,also, been accused of rape.

the accuser has withdrawn her complaint.

When it comes to the frequent and seemingly increasing allegations of rape with obvious political motivations, I find myself increasingly reminded of the Hitchens quote, "What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence."

I pro Assange,I was just stating what has been reported.@spaingaroo

Assange is a co-founder and CEO of Wikileaks, which publishes leaked data from whistleblowers from different countries. Wikileaks has been around since about 2006. It has released all kinds of data regarding various governments. Assange got in trouble with the law of several countries and ended up having to seek asylum in Ecuador's embassy, where he has been for the past seven years. Wikileaks has released data that has made the W. Bush and Obama administrations look bad. They also released a bunch of Hillary Clinton's emails from when she was Sec. of State. They have done much more than that, but those are the biggest things.
The controversy today is that Ecuador has kicked Assange out and he now has to face the legal systems of all those countries that have had bones to pick with him for the past decade.

should we thank him, or fear him---there seems to be a lot of hidden info that needs to be out in the public from all countries / goverments

@Kasey Wikileaks is really the only place where real journalism happens. They only release info that actually matters--no tabloid crap. They do the job that news agencies are supposed to do--investigate government and business on behalf of the people.

Thank you. I really appreciate it. I relate to @Kasey in the confusion on whether the information from Wiki leaks is credible journalism or just another ploy of some entity w an agenda. What strange times we live in.

@Kasey A little of both perhaps. Especially if you are a government or person of significant influence.
