Good old Mitch McConnell. Always advocating party unity?
Always supporting the GOP in ways that lead one to suspect that his famous circular firing squad strategy is gearing up for 2020. As it turns out Mitch is up for reelection in 2020 and Gov. Matt Bevin should seriously consider making a run for the roses.

Mitch McConnell is the classic example of a public servant that needs to be put to pasture. Permanently. McConnell has subverted the Trump administration wherever and whenever he could.

McConnell is a relic of the past. His political instincts have accelerated the extinction of the GOP and his personal self-enrichment via his wife and her family's connection to the Chinese Communists (unknown to many) have made him one of the richest men in D.C.

Now he cautions his herd of cats to distance themselves from the most unorthodox (yet successful) POTUS we have seen since Reagan. It's an understatement to suggest that his support for Trump is questionable. McConnell holds this POTUS in the lowest of regards and it shows. Now that the Mueller report has exonerated the president of collusion and the Nunez criminal referrals wind their way through the DoJ it's a sure bet that McConnell will find himself ducking any further involvement.

2020 is around the corner and the Governor of Kentucky should seriously consider primarying this ancient relic out the political door of American politics.

While McConnell may have differences with Trump, he has actually been a pretty good leader when it comes to getting judges nominated and confirmed. He prevented Merrick Garland from getting confirmed and has been instrumental in stacking the circuit and district courts with judges in the mold of Scalia and Thomas. Well, I guess a lot of that credit actually goes to Harry Reid for the nuclear option. But still, McConnell has not been all that bad. That being said, I'd rather see someone like Rand Paul running the GOP senators.
