Russia promised to support China with Taiwan and China promised to support Russia with Ukraine. As he did in 2008 with the invasion of Abkazia and South Ossetia, Putin seems to favour the olympics as the the perfect time to spring into military action. Perhaps this is because the intelligence services are overstretched to monitor the athletes? In any case, it seems to me as a total layman in matters of military strategies that China and Russia would be better off in acting together and at the same time. I.e. China invading Taiwan the same day Russia invades Ukraine. This would place a further constraint on resources available to possible oppositions and would certainly overstretch the limited intelligence capabilities of the West. Further to that, Russia and China would probably favour the final day of the olympics for their respective interventions. February 20th. As this would allow China to get the show out of the way and still use the presence of foreign athletes and sport federations on its territory as leverage.

I'd be interested in knowing what the good patriots of IDW think about the possibility of a double invasion and what response should entail.

Letting Ukraine become a member of NATO for Russia is like having an open door is San Francisco's Down Town Neighborhood with a two hundred and twelve percent crime rate above the national average. So with the insistence of the USA that Ukraine join NATO. Russia has no choice but to invade if this pressure keeps up. China will take immediate action if Russia invades and take Taiwan. What then? Nothing good.

It's a possibility.

The west, with its convoys, is tied up with countering the tyranny of its own national governments, whose allegiance to central bankers and other international governmental and non-governmental organizations and corporations with a globalist agenda, is its current focus.

It's really an economic holocaust in the making China and Russia can do more or less as they wish for now but can be crushed economically later if need be. If the world wakes up to the re-engineering of civilization ambitions, the build back better scheme, of the globalist elites then the CCP may remain the big problem unless its people can overthrow them.
